This page explains the information used by this website and how to contact Events Barbados about it.

Photography enquiries

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, the photography service you are interested in, and a message. You can also provide an event date and location. Submitted enquiries are stored using Wix Forms; your name and email may also create or update a Wix contact record. We use these details to respond and discuss your request.

Please include only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send identity documents, payment card details or sensitive information through the form. You can also reach us using our private contact form.

Event photographs

Published event albums are publicly accessible. Other visitors may share album links and access the photographs displayed in them. If you have a concern about a photograph, open it and choose “Report this photo”. Your name, email, reason and the exact photo reference are stored privately in Wix for review by owners, core partners and the promoter assigned to that album. An approved removal hides the photograph from this website and its download route; original media and copies already downloaded or shared may remain available elsewhere.

Website and home-screen use

Wix provides the hosting and services behind the website. Those services may process technical information needed to deliver pages, protect forms from spam and maintain security. Your browser may store site files to help the home-screen experience load. Removing the home-screen icon does not delete an enquiry you have sent.

Owner accounts and notifications

Owner sign-in is handled by Wix. Only accounts explicitly authorised by a site administrator can review private reports or remove photographs. If an owner enables phone notifications, the device’s push subscription is stored privately in Wix and used to send a general review alert through its browser’s notification service. Photo-report notifications may show the album, photograph reference and a short excerpt of the request on the device lock screen. Requester contact fields and the photograph itself are not included. Alerts are restricted to active owners, core partners and promoters assigned to the album. Owners can disable notifications and sign out from the Owner area.

Managing album imports

Authorized owners can connect a dedicated OneDrive app folder to import event albums. Transfers run on the website’s cloud services. Private transfer records hold file identifiers and progress; Microsoft credentials are encrypted separately. Imported photographs are stored in Wix Media Manager. An unpublished or private album is restricted in the gallery, but someone with an ordinary Wix image URL may still view that image. When a site admin chooses “Delete album & photos”, the site removes eligible Wix-stored files owned by this preview. Files used elsewhere or belonging to another site are retained. Original files in OneDrive and copies already downloaded are not deleted.
