First Light: the social spirit of a cooler party
A look back at the people, atmosphere and experiences in our event archive.
The Limerz team’s description of First Light centred on a straightforward idea: a cooler party with an energetic, sociable atmosphere. Their plans gave music, accessible bars and the flow of the venue a place in that experience.
The team also spoke about practical care—parking, arrival and consideration for the surrounding community. Those details are less visible than a crowd scene, but they help people spend their time enjoying an event.
Our archive feature revisits that approach to bringing people together. Photography credits in the original coverage: Limerz Cruise and Andrew Browne.
