Cruise Life: Out-to-Sea with the Volume Turnt Up

Boarding pass ready, sunglasses locked in and swimwear doing exactly what it came to do. In Barbados, a party cruise can start with the morning sun, take over the middle of the day or sail straight into the night...the hour hardly matters once the coastline begins to disappear behind you. Women in bikinis, men in shorts, drinks flowing and Soca carrying across the Caribbean Sea: island life with the volume turned all the way up.

Then there is the view. Barbados unfolds differently from the water, with stretches of white sand, turquoise shallows and the island’s coastline providing a backdrop no venue could quite recreate. Some daytime cruises add another layer to the experience with stops for watersports, bringing jet skis, sea baths and a little adventure into the mix. Others simply let the music, drinks and waves do the work. Either way, once the riddim finds its way into waistlines and the vibes take hold, whatever plans there were to sit quietly tend not to last very long.

That is the beauty of a Bajan party cruise: the destination is almost beside the point. Morning, midday or after dark, it brings together the things Barbados does particularly well...sea, scenery, music and good vibes. You come for the cruise, but somewhere between the coastline and the last tune, it becomes something else entirely. Some experiences show you Barbados. A party cruise lets you feel it.
