Terms and Conditions

By submitting or listing an event with Events Barbados, the organiser, advertiser or otherwise client, of Events Barbados confirms that they conform to, agree and accept the following terms and conditions.

1. Events with explicit names or content which portray or condone violence, illegal activities, discrimination or any other matter offensive to the general public morals shall not be listed.

2. Events Barbados reserves the right to approve, edit, reject or remove any event listing on this site for any reason whatsoever.

3. The event must be open to the general public whether by prior booking or general gate/door admission.

4. Your event details may be used in Events Barbados publications, promotions, dissemination pieces, newsletters, passed onto other organisations and/or distributed to the community.

5. Events Barbados is not liable for any loss or damage incurred by an event organiser as a result of any error on the page or any failure or delay in listing an event.

6. The advertiser indemnifies Events Barbados against all claims, actions, suits, liabilities, costs and expenses incurred on any account by Events Barbados as a result of the listing or intended listing of any event by that event organiser on this site or any other related site.

7. Events Barbados will not be held responsible for any events listed on the calendar that are not deemed as a success.

8. The organiser agrees that all information and material you submit to the Events Listings is true and correct, is not defamatory and does not infringe any law.

9. You own or have the necessary permission to use and authorize Events Barbados to use all copyright or other rights in and to any information and material submitted to the Events Listings for use in the manner contemplated by these Terms and Conditions.

10. By submitting information, graphics, images or any promotional content to Events Barbados you agree that you are owner of the work in question, own the copyright to the said works, and or have all neccessary rights to disseminate the said works.

11. You grant to Events Barbados a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence of the necessary rights in all material that you submit to enable Events Barbados to publish that material in the Events Listings and otherwise use that material in any promotion or as otherwise deemed necessary by Events Barbados.

12. You should notify Events Barbados as soon as possible if you find any errors in the Events Listings or if any details contained in your listing have changed.

13. Information contained in the Events Listings has been accepted and collated by Events Barbados in good faith and Events Barbados does not make any claim or warranty as to the accuracy or authenticity of information contained in the Events Listings at any time.

14. Events Barbados is entitled to refuse to upload, or remove any content it deems to be offensive, unlawful, inappropriate, infringing on the rights (including copyright) of any third party, or not of interest to Events Barbados’ users.

15. Events Barbados is entitled to suspend or terminate your access to the Events Listings if you are in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions, or otherwise as per Events Barbados’ sole discretion.

16. Events Barbados is not responsible or liable for any information or services appearing on or accessible through any linked websites.

17. We are in no position to vouch for the actions of event organizers, therefore 'our picks' are simply that. But so long as an event appears in this section, you can rest assured that we have either experienced the event before or are so impressed by its planning and concept that it just sets itself apart as a cut above the rest.
